Expenses can add up for any college student. Unforeseen circumstances can create financial concerns. We know paying for college isn’t always easy, especially in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, and we want to make sure you can afford your degree at OSU. You deserve to focus on pursuing your academic goals and enjoying your college experience without financial stress. From scholarships to emergency funds, we offer a variety of resources to assist you. 

Scholarships and Financial Aid

We’re available to answer your questions about scholarship deadlines, financial aid applications and more. Visit our office at 119 Student Union. 

Emergency Funding

Cowboy Strong Student Emergency Fund

We provide financial support to students experiencing unexpected hardships that could impact their ability to remain enrolled in school. Financial assistance is available for immediate and current emergency situations.

Student Veteran Emergency Fund

If you’re a student veteran experiencing unforeseen financial difficulties, we encourage you to apply for this fund. 

Former Foster Youth Daybreak Fund

This is available to former foster youth attending OSU. The fund provides support if you’re encountering unexpected expenses such as medical bills, living expenses, emergencies or academic needs.

Catastrophic Refund

If an emergency requires you to withdraw from the university, you might be able to receive a refund for tuition and fees.

Academic College FundingOur academic colleges offer unique scholarship opportunities. 

Student Veteran Support

Our Military and Veteran Benefit Services are here for veterans and their dependents. We can offer information and assistance as you complete the necessary forms to apply for education benefits.

Planning your financial future

If you want some pointers for managing your money, visit a financial planning coach in the Office of First Year Success. We'll coach you on creating healthy financial habits and accessing financial resources. We can also assist with addressing financial hardships and difficulties.
