Family Support

As a parent and an OSU student, you are supported. Balancing academic and family responsibilities can be stressful, but we are here to provide you with the resources you need. Your whole family is part of the Cowboy community.


Family Resource Center

The Family Resource Center at 719 N. Walnut St. offers assistance to families and campus residents who live in Year-Round Housing on campus. Programs include adult classes, youth and family activities, academic initiatives, a lending system, English classes, referral services, and a free shopping shuttle. The adult education classes are open to all students and their families for a small fee. Children's programs and shopping shuttle are available to residents who live in Year-Round Housing.

Our Daily Break Mobile Market

The Food and Resource Center for Payne County sets up on campus on the second Wednesday of every month. Please stop by the Family Resource Center from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month to get free groceries, including fresh produce. This is open to all residents in Payne County.

On-Campus Housing

OSU is home to six on-campus neighborhoods for families and graduate students. Apartments are available in five floor plans. If you’re interested in living on campus with your family, learn more from Housing and Residential Life.

Mobile Pantry for Baby Resources

The BabyMobile is a mobile formula, food, and diaper pantry that provides assistance to children from birth through age 3. Text the word “BabyMobile” to 484848 to receive the current BabyMobile schedule.
