Feeding our family

Let’s face the facts. Food insecurity is a major issue among college students across the nation. At OSU, we’re developing solutions for this problem. No one should have to worry about where to find nutritious food. If you need a free meal, we have options for you.

Food and resource center partnership

We work with Our Daily Bread Food and Resource Center in town to make sure all students can access the food they need. Our Daily Bread welcomes student shoppers during its OSU Night events. If you prefer to get your groceries on campus, you can visit one of the mobile markets.

On-Campus Resources

Food Notification Group

To request information about free food opportunities, join Pete’s Eats. This group is anonymous and open to students.

Food Pantry Locations

Did you know our campus has multiple locations that regularly offer free food? We’ll help you know where to find them.

Nutrition Guidance

Everyone has unique dietary needs and preferences. We tailor our services to you. Talk with a dietitian and create meal plans to make the most of your OSU dining experience.

Community Resources

Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program

SNAP, the largest federal nutrition assistance program, can help if you’re dealing with food insecurity and financial stress. Staff members in Student Support, Leadership and Campus Life, and the LASSO Center can assist you with applying.

Community Brunch

Stillwater’s First Presbyterian Church serves a free brunch from 11 a.m.-noon every Saturday.

Community Dinner

In need of a hot meal? The First United Methodist Church of Stillwater hosts a community dinner from 5-6 p.m. each Thursday.

Food and Resource Center

Our Daily Bread hosts OSU Night for all students, and you can also shop at this local food and resource center during its regular hours if you are eligible for assistance.
