Student Affairs Assessment Advisory Council

The Student Affairs Assessment Advisory Council (SAAAC) includes representatives from all departments in the Division of Student Affairs. It was convened in 2013 and is the longest standing committee in the division. The Assessment council is responsible for:

 

  • Implementing assessment planning, reporting and evaluation of assessment efforts
  • Fulfilling the learning goals and objectives of the division's strategic plan
  • Guiding division-wide assessment projects
  • Providing professional development and consultation on assessment
  • Monitoring progress of assessment plans
  • Identifying common learning outcomes
  • Creating resources to support assessment professional development
  • Establishing a standard format for unit level assessment annual reports
  • Collecting information fro the annual impact report
  • Functioning as a learning community to advance its own learning as well as the application and consultation of innovations and improvement
