Graduate Assistantship
Required Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education
- Enrollment as a degree-seeking student in a graduate program at Oklahoma State University, preferably a program within the School of Educational Foundations, Leadership and Aviation
- A passion for working with undergraduate students through a culturally conscious lens
- Demonstrated leadership and communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, which may include some weekend and evening hours
Duration and Compensation:
- Length: 2025-2026 Academic Year [could also continue as the successful candidate remains a degree-seeking graduate student]
- Hours per week: 20 (0.5 FTE)
- Stipend: $2,200 per month

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide support in the management of the following non-exhaustive list of programs and priorities:
- Academic Alerts o Provide management of Academic Alerts submitted by instructors for students assigned to academic advisors within the College; communicate with students to ensure they are aware of the academic alert and provide resources to support and encourage success
- Mid-term Grade Outreach o Connect with first-year students with low mid-term GPAs to create an action plan for success throughout the remainder of the academic term
- CEAT Tutoring o Provide administrative and management support to the CEAT Tutoring program

Reporting:
The individual selected will report to a full-time professional within CEAT.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Provide support to the Coordinator of Student Engagement in the management of the following non-exhaustive list of programs and priorities:
- Parker Hall Living Learning Program
- Support for the experiential learning that occurs in the Parker Hall LLP for first-year CEAT students
- Serve as an advisor to the PEATEs (Parker Engineering, Architecture, and Technology Experts), the upperclassmen mentors who live in the residence hall
- Plan and execute various programming within Parker Hall for LLP members
- First Year Experience Program
- Provide administrative support for tracking students’ progress within CEAT’s First Year Experience program, which focuses on four areas of the student experience in their first year, either as a first-time, full-time, or transfer student: Campus Connection, Academic Engagement, Self-Growth and Wellness, and Leadership Growth
- Help guide the selection of programmatic themes and continual improvement of the program
- CEAT Scholars Program
- Support the planning and execution of enrichment activities and development of students within the CEAT Scholars Program in the areas of cultural development, leadership and professional development, industry engagement, and community service
- CEAT Summer Bridge Program
- Support strategic planning for the 2026 CEAT Summer Bridge Program, including the selection of undergraduate peer mentors
- This position does come with the opportunity to be employed during the Summer 2026 term to support Summer Bridge at the successful candidate’s discretion and interest
- Additional administrative and programmatic functions as necessary throughout the academic year
