You're Halfway There!

You’ve gotten your midterm grades and enjoyed fall break … which means it’s crunch time.
Don’t freak out! We’ll help you make the next six weeks a breeze.
Remember when Mom said you couldn’t play until your homework was finished? She had a good point. Procrastination = “your frenemy.”
Write down every deadline you have to meet between now and then. Then, schedule mini deadlines for yourself to have parts of assignments finished by certain dates.
That should keep you on track.
Don’t you feel better already?
LASSO In Some Help
The LASSO Center can help you really get ahold of those grades before they get out of control. You can get help on those tough assignments from other students for free. What’s not to love?
Study, Study, Study
Just when you think you’ve studied enough, do it some more. Pick a place and time, then study every day. This will help you when finals roll around, and you already know all the information!
Try breaking the information into chunks or a different subject every day. Just don’t over do it and remember to take care of yourself.
Need more tips on how to study effectively? Here you go!
Don’t forget to enroll for next semester!
Yeah, it’s already time. You can enroll for your classes here.
After logging in, go to:
- Self Service
- Register for Classes
Didn’t work? Make sure you don’t have any holds on your account.
You might need to pay a bill at the Bursar office or schedule an appointment with your adviser to figure out enrollment issues.
Go to Class
Not to beat a dead horse, but it’s hard to get your grade up when your professor has never seen you. When you do show up, give the professor some R-E-S-P-E-C-T and stay awake. You can take that nap when you get back home.
Besides, you’ve got something to look forward to...
ONLY SIX MORE WEEKS UNTIL WINTER BREAK!
