It is important to know that if a group has reserved a space, that group has the right to be there, and others do not have the ability to engage in conduct that intentionally, materially, and substantially disrupts that group. If you decide that reserving space is the right step for your event, please use some of the following resources:

 

Meeting and Conference Services – If you would like to reserve space inside or around the outside of the Student Union call (405) 744-5232 .

 

Oklahoma State University Police Department – If you are planning a large event or would like the police to be aware of your event please contact OSUPD at (405) 744-6523.

 

While the institution takes on a constitutional obligation to protect everyone’s right to freedom of speech, the institution does have the ability to limit speech in certain areas of campus based on time, place, and manner.

 

We strive to provide a safe environment for all faculty, staff, students, and visitors on our campus. If at any time you feel that you are at risk of physical harm call 911 immediately. Officers from the Oklahoma State University Police Department will be dispatched to your location. If you have concerns about the behavior of a student, you can contact Student Conduct at (405) 744-5470 . If you have concerns about the behavior of a faculty or staff member you can contact Human Resources at (405) 744-5449.
